Nataraja Studios is a space for dance, music, & healing with a mission to weave together a new world, one healing thread at a time! Grace Oriel is the owner of Nataraja Studios, where she offers classes, workshops, & performances weekly. Grace has a bachelor's degree that specializes in dance movement therapy, young women's development, & non-profit business management. She has choreographed & performed for multiple events, festivals, & large productions working with many well-known artists such as George Clinton, The P Funks, Burning Spears, Base Nectar, Dessert Dwellers, & more.

Belly Dancing with Grace Oriel:

Dance is a spiritual medicine that has been around for thousands of years, but has been largely suppressed by colonialism & the patriarchy. Ecstatic, cathartic, free-form dance brings us into our fullest expression of self & what type of movement you're drawn to reveals the somatic healing your body needs. Spirituality is not about leaving the body; it is about being so completely in the body that you feel one with it. Healing & dance have everything to do with one another!

Belly dancing is a beautiful type of movement that can bring you into an ecstatic or emotional state that transcends the self. This Full Moon in Aries is a wonderful time to activate our bellies in this fun & intentional way because Aries has a direct connection to our Solar Plexus Chakra, located just above the belly. This Chakra houses the flame of our digestive fire which converts food & sunshine into life-force energy for the body. It is a vortex for personal transformation & awakening this internal fire can rekindle a spark of light within & our authentic sense of Self.

Registration is Required:

Space is limited to the first thirteen women who register in order to preserve the circle's intimacy & connection.

We are using a sliding scale of $18 - $38 for tickets to help make this event affordable to more women. If you won't notice an extra $10 or $20 out of your bank account, please consider paying more than the minimum requirement. We pour a lot of time, energy, & love into holding these circles & hope for a reciprocal exchange.
