The Circle Way:

Circle provides a sacred container where all voices can speak & be heard; it is a social art form. In circle, there is nowhere to hide & every person's level of engagement or lack there of is noticeable. There is nowhere to secretly check your phone or whatever gadgets keeps you attached to the multitasking world. This intensified & intentional way of showing up creates deep experiences & meaningful connections.

Circle offers space to:

• Take a breath.
• Focus on the people you're actually with.
• Fully experience the present moment.

Open Circles Co-Hosted by Luna & Sean:

In the past year, Luna Brooke has hosted twenty Moon Circles (for women) in Burlington, VT, which continues to be an active gathering. Meanwhile Sean Babsan has been participating in Sun Circles (for men) in Glover, VT.  Coming together for our first Open Circle, we hope to integrate the powers of the Sun & Moon for a more united & balanced gathering.

There isn't any real benefit of "genderizing" energy & if anything it seems to create more confusion by complicating the discussion of sacred energy & natural cycles with identity & gender biases. The Sun's forceful energy is simply Yang or Sacred Giving and the Moon's passive energy is Yin or Sacred Receiving. We need both ~ a balance of giving & receiving for there is no point in all that we do if we never stop to receive it.

Meet Sean Babsan 𓆃

Sean Babson is a certified Reiki Practitioner, creative writer, and culinary artist in recovery who practices mindful meditation, self hypnosis, shamanism, Buddhism, herbalism, and empathic compassion.  He believes in facilitating the healing of all beings in the sacred circles he navigates through reverent ceremony and fellowship.

Creating the Center:

This circle will center around the warmth of ceremonial fire. The center provides a neutral space to deposit stories, opinions, thoughts, & feelings which we can lean into with curiosity & without judgement. A neutral center allows people to listen & speak in a more intentional way. We will also have a beautiful yin-yang altar built with natural materials & sacred intention which all are invited to contribute to.

Location:

The meeting spot for this circle is at Luna's home, along the shore of Arrowhead Mountain Lake, where we can enjoy the warmth of a blazing fire!
