About the Event

The Spring Equinox:

On our journey through the Wheel of the Year, the Spring Equinox, brings a time of perfect balance. All around the world, day & night are equal in length. Dark & light, inner & outer, masculine & feminine ~ are all in perfect equilibrium. Moving forward the Sun will be shining brighter and longer! The arrival of Spring brings a renewed sense of energy to just about everyone on Earth, and we will be celebrating with ceremony, music, magick, and dancing!

Ecstatic Dance:

Ecstatic, cathartic, free-form dance brings us into our fullest expression of self. We will have live DJs playing music under the elder trees so you can come vibe, move, shake, and play as we celebrate the awakening of Spring.

Bring any props you desire for your unique sacred flow! We will have hula hoops to share. ♡

Celebrating the Earth:

There are many avtivities and opportunities to connect with Mother Earth throughout the day. Twigs from spring trees are pliable and entwine easily to make flower crowns. The opening ceremony at 3 PM will be a traditional ritual to give thanks/praise to the Goddesses Ostera and Blodeuwedd ~ German & Welsh Goddesses of fertility & rebirth. Other activities include walking meditation, an egg hunt, and painting eggs. Eggs are a perfect symbol of creation. The shell represents Earth; the membrane, air; the yolk, fire; and the white, water.

Covid19 Protocol:

This event is outdoors, so please dress comfortably. If it is cold; wrap up warm. If the wind and rain come, rejoice in them! This is a Celebration of the Earth after all. Adhering to CDC guidelines, masks are required when gathering. If you need a "mask break", head for a walk in the woods! There is plenty of space to spread out. 𓆃

When you arrive, you can choose a wristband which is appropriate for you...

Red wristband: Don't hug me and respect my space. I am taking ALL precautions against covid19.

Yellow wristband: Proceed with caution.

Green wristband: Feel free to come dance with me!

A Zero-Waste Event:

We are a zero-waste home, meaning we avoid producing garbage AND recycling. We actually don't even have a garbage can! So it is YOUR responsibility to take home any waste you may create at this event. Please plan accordingly.

As we celebrate the Earth, it is important to remember that we are a factor in the larger scheme of things. Droughts and forest fires are not independent from our everyday actions and zero-waste is a great way to take responsibility for our role in the Earth's health and vitality.

Event Location & Parking:

This event is at a private location and the exact address will not be shared untill after you register. We will be gathering under the elder trees in Georgia, VT on the shoreline of Arrowhead Mountain Lake. Parking is available at the Russell Greene Natural Area, right on 104A.

Feel free to enjoy the walking trail at the Russell Greene Natural Area while here; it is about a mile and a half long.
