About the Event
Forest Bathing with Faarzein
Forest Bathing is a health practice inspired by the Japanese tradition of Shinrin-Yoku, which means, “bathing one’s senses in the atmosphere of the forest”. It is an opportunity to connect deeply with nature, your senses, & yourself.
Faarzein Mahmud is a forest therapy guide & the creatrix behind Forest Bathing Vermont. She trained at the Association of Nature & Forest Therapy Guides in California & is is passionate about rebuilding the sacred relationship between humans & nature. Before the Sun sets, join us for this special Winter Forest Bath.
Walking in a Winter Wonderland
Winter is a truly beautiful season when the lake is frozen, snow glistens on evergreens, & paw prints reveal in the snow what other animals are still wandering about. Winter doesn't need to be a season to endure when there is so much to enjoy!
In this Winter Forest Bath, we will be exploring the Russell Greene Natural Area & Arrowhead Mountain Lake to connect with the beauty & wonder of this season.
Please dress for winter including snowpants if you own a pair.
