About the Event

This Circle Includes:

  • 1 hr. Osho Dynamic Meditation
  • Meet Sekhmet ~ the Lioness Goddess
  • Group Sharing (topic: sacred anger)
  • Opening & Closing Rituals

Osho Dynamic Meditation:

Osho Dynamic Meditation is 1 hr. of meditation including 5 stages.

1️⃣ Fast, deep, & chaotic breathing

2️⃣ Catharsis

3️⃣ Jumping & Shouting (mantra: hoo)

4️⃣ Silence

5️⃣ Celebration through Dance

Each stage is marked by music specifically made for this meditation technique. Osho says while doing the meditation, remain a witness & observe what is happening as if you are just a spectator. It can be done in a group or alone, but the energy is said to be more powerful when done with others.

Dynamic Meditation as a term is contradictory. Dynamic means effort, much activity. Meditation means silence, no effort, no activity. In a way, it is a dialectical meditation. The process allows meditation to emerge through active movement. In this technique, chaos is expressed (dynamic movement/activity) prior to feeling relaxed (meditation/inactivity). Once the junk is released, meditation is easy.

Sekhmet ~ the Lioness Goddess:

Sekhmet is an Egyptian Lioness Goddess, whose head is actually a lion. 🦁 She is fierce, outspoken, & wild. When it is time to heal, transform, & uplevel, Sekhmet helps us to embody our fearless, warrior archetype ~ to initiate healing. Sekhmet is a Dark Goddess (similar to Kali), giving us the strength & courage to look at our shadows, to stand up, speak out, & heal our ancestral pain. She carries the power it takes to truly transform.

Sekhmet is one of the most misunderstood & misrepresented Goddesses. Her story (translated by men) has been distorted to make her appear blood thirsty & evil, but this is not her true essence. Sekhmet is no more "evil" than an outspoken woman is. Our society distorts angry, outspoken, & powerful women to appear "crazy", "evil", & "bitchy".

When we channel our anger toward a more just world, we create healing. This is sacred anger.

Sacred Anger:

In our culture, anger is seen as wrong, especially for women, however anger can be healthy & healing when channeled correctly. We must feel to heal. We all deserve to be angry about patriarchal & systematic oppression in all forms. We get to be ANGRY & in order for healing to occur, we have to talk about the injustice that is happening.

Anger used toward justice & global healing is sacred anger. When Sekhmet enters your life, there is no more time for playing small. It is time to be fearless, whole, & bold!

Creating the Circle:

At the center of each circle is a beautiful mandala made out of nature & intention which we ceremoniously create together to open each circle & take apart to close. This is a powerful way to ground, connect, & create together. No two circles are ever the same & each mandala serves as an altar for the beautiful & unique experience we share together.

The center provides a neutral space to deposit stories, opinions, thoughts, & feelings which we can lean into with curiosity & without judgement. A neutral center allows people to listen & speak in a more intentional way.

Covid19 Protocol:

  • Masks required for unvaccinated individuals.

Registration is Required:

Space is limited to the first thirteen women who register in order to preserve the circle's intimacy & connection.

We are using a sliding scale of $15 - $30 for tickets to help make this event affordable to more women. If you won't notice an extra $5 or $15 out of your bank account, please consider paying more than the minimum requirement. As small business owners, Laura & I absolutely do notice the difference & appreciate your generosity. We pour a lot of time, energy, & love into holding these circles & hope for a reciprocal exchange.

Trans-women welcome. Ages 13+ only.
